1. What is Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)?ADR includes processes like mediation and negotiation that help resolve disputes outside of court in a faster, less stressful and more cost-effective way.
2. What services does Resolve360 provide?We offer mediation, negotiation and executive coaching for individuals and organisations facing commercial / business disputes.
3. What types of disputes do you handle?We specialise in business, commercial, and workplace disputes. At this stage we do not do family disputes (husband - wife) it's too... %&#ed up!
4. Where is Resolve360 located?We are based in Sydney, Australia, with online services available nationwide.
5. What is mediation?Mediation is a confidential, voluntary process where a neutral mediator helps parties communicate and reach a mutually acceptable agreement.
6. What is negotiation in the ADR context?Negotiation involves facilitated discussions between parties to resolve a dispute directly, often with the support of an experienced business negotiator.
7. How is mediation different from negotiation?Mediation includes a neutral third party guiding the process. In negotiation, the parties (sometimes with advisors or facilitators) work directly to resolve the dispute and do a business deal to settle the dispute. Eventually, everything is negotiable!
8. Who can benefit from your services?Executives, managers, HR teams, business partners, franchises and any parties involved in commercial or workplace conflict.
9. Do I need a lawyer to use ADR services?No, legal representation is not required, but you are welcome to involve a lawyer if you choose. We can also recommend a lawyer (at times).
10. Is ADR legally binding?Agreements reached through mediation or negotiation can be formalised into binding contracts or a deed if desired by both parties. We'll need lawyers to complete this step.
11. How long does it take to resolve a dispute through Resolve360?Many issues are resolved in a single day. More complex matters may take multiple sessions over weeks and months. We place timelines and pressure parties to come to the table. We speed up the process.
12. How much do your services cost?Significantly less than what you pay lawyers. We offer fixed and hourly pricing based on the complexity of the dispute. Some dispute need months of work. Some need a day's work. What you should know is that we aim to SAVE you on costs BIG TIME and deliver and outcome. Before you pay, ask yourself: Are you really ready to do this?
13. Are your services confidential?Yes, all discussions are strictly confidential and handled with the highest discretion.
14. Can you help prevent disputes before they start?Yes and No. We don't do magic! We are realists. Our executive coaching and proactive conflict resolution strategies are designed to prevent issues from escalating.
15. What is executive coaching?Executive coaching helps business leaders navigate conflict, difficult negotiations, improve decision-making, and strengthen leadership during high-stakes situations. This is our a big part of our business: getting into your head! Someone needs to be brave and advice you from an external point of view.
16. Do both parties need to agree to participate in mediation or negotiation?Yes. Voluntary participation is essential to the success of any ADR process. You can engage us to start the process and we can inform all parties.
17. What are the benefits of using ADR over court?ADR is faster, more affordable, less formal, and often preserves business relationships better than litigation. The direct answers is that we help you avoid unnecessary stress, crazy legal bills, preserve your privacy & reputation (court = public record). In many cases we save businesses from liquidation and #%#ing up you families livelihoods. Imagine that! Exactly what we DON'T WANT.
18. Do you resolve accounting and taxation matters amongst companies or partners?Absolutely not. We 100% involve accountants to help provide with objective accounting information. This at times is the core of the problem. The accountant needs to be trusted by both/all parties. Alternatively, we'll help negotiate a trusted 3rd party or involve forensic accounting. (We go to every length possible to resolve the damn dispute).
19. What qualifications do your mediators and coaches have?Our team holds nationally recognised qualifications in negotiation (Harvard Law School & American Negotiation Society) with deep experience in corporate settings. Mediation: as of May 2025 we are working on national accreditation.
